Lol, I posted on the Breeders cup thread and quoted Dave in error.... Shit I don't even know how anyone can compare. Either CNC is sleeping, or he is in the parade ring really not impressed, as it is a current event....

Re: Worlds Greatest
9 years 7 months agoI disagree - Gr1 horses are the best of the best and are normally tuned to perfection with the best riders and trainers involved. Maidens and handicaps you never know who's trying, prepping etc. You have to be the best to get rides in these international Graded races and win consistently.Mac wrote: Surely, consistently winning on maidens and handicappers must show as a better quality jockey than winning on Gr1 horses who can be ridden and won with by almost anyone.

Next stop Australia on Moore's epic world trip
By Scott Burton 7:29PM 1 NOV 2015
THE jockey who seems unstoppable touches down in Australia on Monday primed for the third leg of an epic globetrotting mission after adding to his Breeders' Cup heroics with a Group 1 triumph in Paris on Sunday.
Little more than 16 hours after scoring on Found in the Breeders' Cup Turf, Ryan Moore was at it again as he flew 4,181 miles from Keeneland to win the Criterium International on Johannes Vermeer at Saint-Cloud.

Moore, who returned from injury less than six weeks ago, is in the skies again tonight on the 10,427-mile flight to Australia for the Emirates Melbourne Cup, in which he rides Snow Sky for Sir Michael Stoute in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
After three straight years at Santa Anita, the return of the Breeders' Cup to more easterly climes in Kentucky denied many European professionals what has become an easier route to Melbourne via Los Angeles.
But Moore decided to turn that inconvenience into an opportunity in a trip of more than 14,000 miles across 15 time zones that on Sunday saw him partner Racing Post Trophy runner-up Johannes Vermeer and Idaho for Aidan O'Brien in the final two Group 1s of the French season.
And it was Moore himself who volunteered for extra duty, when lesser men might have opted for extra recovery time in Australia.
"They are two good horses with good chances so it's nice to be here," said Moore as he returned to the weighing room having collected the trophy for Johannes Vermeer's gutsy success in the Criterium International, just 16 hours and five minutes after forcing Found - a filly with nearly as many air miles under her girth as Moore in recent weeks - past Golden Horn in the Turf.
Mathieu Legars, Coolmore's representative in France, said: "The flights all worked out and it's brilliant Ryan has made the extra effort to stop off in France to ride in two Group 1s for us on his way to Australia."
