In response to Bob's post,Possibly Owners not got colours so they race under the radar!!! Colours should be free(or at least not as expensive as they are!!!)

G I think the opposite is in fact the truth, colours are too easy to get and this results in many many trainers ending up with owners that cant really afford to have horses unless they are good enough to win or at least pay their own way :(
