Bob try and watch that ride/race again - Gift, no doubt, to the eventual winner.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

How long is that run in from the bend? He's is sitting with a double handful, why doesn't he win the race instead off sitting there like a statue and waiting, waiting, waiting.

I don't think the ride on the second cost it the race, but it is tiring watching these jocks who get 'clever' wanting to pose instead of just riding horses out to the line as it should be done.
It was a massive swing to me,I was big on the second, but I'm more pissed that the NHRA don't come down harder on riders. They are there to ride horses as hard as possible to win races, not to pose for photos to hang on their lounge walls.

For some unknown reason, he was only interested in the horse on his left - talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
When you watch a race like that, then you seriously believe there is something funny going on in racing.

I disagree.
It's always been part of racing, but this 'salute at the line' is happening more and more.
In this case he never got to do it,but I guarentee that was his intention. That fact that this is potentially a big switch to punters doesn't seem to hit home.

Have you ever heard of momentum,if you don't think he would have won that race if he had ridden a finish when he should have then I'm gobsmacked.
