yes the 1 should doddle the 2nd

5/1 place double....93/1 win double.

don't read much into lbh, Yes indicates the better horses most of the time but it doesn't show a few things

1) which horse got first run

2) was the horse run to the line or the jockey just never bother to complete the ride

3) was the horse blocked for a clear run etc

Race 5#8 Fleetfoot mac is my roughie for the day! Beat trip to Rio in its maiden plate and then lost form for some reason. 2nd run after rest and it's 1st run back wasn't too bad. This horse was supposed to run a few weeks back. Got backed and then was scratched. It's running again today and again has been backed. So I'm taking my chances that this horse is right and ready for the winners box again!!! Taking a double with arctic route and a treble with shepherd one!

I agree with Mr H. Kwinta will win. Her close finish to Sirens Call was impressive and she was very unlucky last run.
R5 The Tolmay stable is hot. Exacta box Celtic King,Super Club,Devious Tiger. Trifecta and quartet add Heywot

R1 Form of A Million Dreams has worked out very well despite suffering fairly hefty defeats in all three of her starts but she has seemed to tire late in her races. Striker back up and the slight drop in trip should help but, Tripadvisor was running on nicely on debut over 1000 here and comfortably went past a somewhat tiring Patty Cake to take silver, the latter won a 1200 maiden at Greyville yesterday by 6l. The 4 draw for Tripadvisor concerns me a little but I think she will run on the stronger to take the spoils. Watch the market though... TRIPADVISOR x A MILLION DREAMS x SWEET PAINTED LADY

R2 Al Azraq seems to me to only have the debutant Buckland to worry about and that one's siblings don't inspire me to think this one will win on debut or perhaps over this trip. Tarry could well have him prepared differently so can't be discounted but not for me. AA's stablemate Ashkenrazi doesn't have the worst form and could make it a stable exacta. Assuming Silverdreamracer gets a better start, he potentially is drawn much better than stablemate Daspoort and could turn the tables on their last run to claim the trifecta spot... AL AZRAQ x ASHKENRAZI x SILVERDREAMRACER

R3 Not seen many better fields than this one! Of the obvious two the overall form of Stunning Angel looks at first glance the stronger but my preference is for Honeybush Tree. SA has done ok in 2 runs on the sand but that is sand and the fields were weak. The winner aside, it was a similar story for her effort over 1000 lto. HT also ran on the sand lto and thus it is ignored. As for the rest of their form... SA was 5.5l behind Portrait (1200 slightly soft) and the latter won nto but with HT, on debut, only 3.4l back (1200). Over 1400 on turf, SA finished 0.5l behind Tarentum who nto finished 2l in front of HT but the latter was reported not striding that day (though Princess Maggie was beaten further than when they met again nto). Not much between them but with Lerena currently fighting for everything to the last and with a potentially good draw I will side with HT. Can anything else beat them, probably any with a tweak here or there lol but 3rd fav Vivacious Lady (sorry, had wrong one down originally) would be my nomination but on a line through She's A Flirt, she does look held by SA... HONEYBUSH TREE x STUNNING ANGEL x VIVACIOUS LADY

R4 Racing Free does look very hard to oppose. One to consider giving value to an exacta imo is Bar Dot Accent, much the best of her three runs came in her penultimate outing over this c/d and if she can close to repeating that effort then has a fair chance of silver. Movie Man and the supported debutant Song From Seattle fighting out minors... RACING FREE x BAR DOT ACCENT x SONG FROM SEATTLE

R5 Hardest on the card for me. I agree with Mantis that Fleetfoot Mac is worth a look, I think I might have put this one up as an idiot lto, competed against some fair sorts in the past and had some excuses along the way, if coming on for that last run after a 23 week break he could well be competitive here. With plenty questions in this field, I'll go with him as a tentative e/w selection. Heywot has seemingly responded to Lerena with two wins whilst flopping in the other two of his 4 most recent runs, with a good draw he could be the right one. That said, Devious Tiger who has a reasonable c/d record was only 2.1l off Heywot when, somewhat strangely to my eye, getting started all too late and would be no surprise to see the form reversed. Celtic King is respected but I'm not sure he will get going in time over this shorter trip... FLEETFOOT MAC x HEYWOT x DEVIOUS TIGER x CELTIC KING

Time short...

R6 Bravo Maya E/W... had no run and had to do a fairly slow loop around runners and was probably finishing best of all when behind Shepard One in her penultimate run over c/d. Very competitive field but my e/w shout here. Fire Dancing and Captain;s Diva will have a couple of rand thrown their way... BRAVO MAYA x SHEPARD ONE x FIRE DANCING

R7 Has been very costly for me to follow but I'll sit with Kings V one last time (I think I said that last time too... and maybe the time before that... and lol). Kosava probably the main danger but I have a nag about stablemate Tutta Magee on whom I will have a small e/w... KINGS V x KOSAVA x TUTTA MAGEE

R8 ARCTIC ROUTE. Should have Dalalaat held comfortably on runs to To You (I think AR ran in the race with To You and Dalalaat back in June but lost a few lengths at the start and was possibly scratched because of a stall problem? Despite that, finished only just behind Dalalaat if I remember rightly). Wendish my small e/w shout, not far off AR based on runs with Eina. With a better draw and trainer form Catch A Thief would have been of interest... ARCTIC ROUTE x WENDISH X DALALAAT

R9 I agree with others regarding the price on Panchatanta, though the trainer according to TT has said that whatever beats it wins. I don't think the interference last time was that bad and Prescient was finishing nicely that day, just not convinced she truly goes the 1400. I agree with Mr H that celine, with Striker up for the first time could run a decent race. The selection here though will be an e/w on Seattle Trade and but for the slightly concerning draw of 7, I would be a lot more confident. Had a series of poor draws around the bends but has for the most part run respectably despite them. Has won twice in 5 starts on this c and won only attempt this c/d three runs back despite being probably on the wrong side. I give her a really good chance today on third run after a short rest... SEATTLE TRADE x PRESCIENT x PANCHATANTA

Watch out for SJG horses causing a shock, especially the ones he owns. Have noticed over the last year or so that they can pop up even though the form book would suggest they have no chance.

Be(s)t of luck to all

Kwinta X Arctic Route double for me.

Race 1. Favorite too short considering soo many other first timers. Will have Sweet Painted Lady e/w.

Interesting prices in the last on that favorite. Will brass that and back Cape marigold.

Am taking a pa today just have not yet worked it out.
