If you can't produce a raceable surface on sand,then something is drastically wrong.
It's the easiest surface to look after.

Fark it abandoned why coudnt they do an inspection before the 1st race starts makes no sense

I'm afraid that is not true!!!!With all the warning they have had ,the blame lies squarely with those who should be managing the track manager ...................but perhaps it should be finally accepted that "P" is a 3 ring circus ,managed by clowns!...........how much evidence is needed!
