In the first I think Faberge Style should win if she takes to the stand, but at the odds I'm going e/w Miss Lecture

The only reason Movie Man is so short is not because it's form is good but because the opposition is shocking.............for that reason alone Apsley will be my 20/80 each way nibble .............................probably doesn't have to improve much!

I'm with you - but look at it this way: things can only improve from here

Lots of comments on here today - let me briefly add mine:
R2: Very weak obviously - so even Seeking Seattle off a rating of 44 goes went into my Bi-Pot
I also hold a slight candle for Stay Far Sway - by Albert Hall, so may enjoy the sand
R3: Movie Man obviously - but much too short in the betting imo - perhaps Roman Carnival (by Windrush) could improve on the surface
R4: I also think Dawn Day may improve - Rainbow Warbler should also be there in a weak fillies handicap - I think Ballerini maybe better over shorter
R5: How Anger can still be allowed to race is beyond me - rules are there to be enforced surely - at best he wins this. not much between Salute the Sun and Rough Justice - best roughie imo Maji Moto - another model of consistency
R6: Limbo should be there, stable has not really been turning out the winners though. I liked the way All I Want won last time and he is my narrow first choice
R7: Not sure what went wrong with Escudo, but at her best would murder this field; if she flops, I think it will be fought out by Wilhelmina and Belinsky - better than her last effort
R8: Open handicap to close; Nero and Black Poseidon likes this surface, not sure about Dakiwe over the trip, Shepherds Warning (by Tiger Ridge) should enjoy the surface and must be included, Sundari and Taiwan Treasure - I would not want to be caught short here in the P6
Enjoy

One of the early lessons I got (many years ago....lol) was how expensive it was backing very poor horses cos the opposition seemed even worse!
