Apparently MdK says Majmu is the best filly he has trained!!!!

If she is better than Igugu and Ipi Tombe ,she doesn't need to be 100% fit!

Trainers have a bad habit of saying things like this , usually when they are colts though :)

There are certain trainers that I would take that comment with a pinch of salt(there is one trainer who has his best nearly every year........lol)
MdK is certainly not prone to talking horses up though!

Craig Pienaar wrote: Imo escape route ran past beaten horses cause of the going, clearly looking like a horse that needs further not sure of track conditions today but if running fast the sprinters will outrun him
if slinky jack has been for counseling it will be no race

I disagree - He was green as grass that day and found some traffic over the last 300m or he would have run a clear third- He will come on lengths from that but my concern is the draw if it is still so biased up the straight(small field though) -
My problem with Slinky is that I was in the box when he went down last time - We all had backed him outright and in exotics and before he got to the start I told the boys he would not run - If it were possible to geld a horse twice then that would be the cure - Madder than Mugabe this guy but talent certainly.

Have taken some very decent e/w bets and win/place doubles with Honeybush Tea who will improve enormously on her fair first run and is also very generously priced up..

Looks like the bookies have corrected their mistake...

The horse than finished 3rd in that Scottsville race Toni performs was well beaten in the Ruffian and is held by the likes of Nomvula Sapsan and Scandal. Interestingly i see there is a nibble on Scandal as well from 33-1 to 7-1 and a drift on Stikers and the other Spies horse.
Who farkin knows with these 2 year olds...
