Exactly my point ran on off a slow pace had they gone quick would no doubt have finished further back..
Give everything but up!

every time they race it's a feature. Feature to see who can crawl better. I am sorry if I moaned about Bingo Park.

Hopeitsaprize should enjoy a return to Durbanville - she travels well early and fights on in the straight.

Threw my selections out the window after Happy Lion, so my complete random selections will be as follows;

Any horses drawn 1 and 2 are excluded, Van Niekerk, Orffer, Cheyne and Fortune all excluded, that means Winters Eve and Eye of the Panther both gone, Hopeitsaprize and Winter Reserve both gone, next Snaith, Stewart and Crawford all bye bye, that leaves me with runners 2,3 and four. The lowest draw of the three wins my vote and honest Karl my pick on Up in Lights, lets see how it works out, the other two to fill the trifecta.

Corne Orfer was confident of a win with Hopeitsaprize when interviewed after his win earlier. Looked good going to post and hope can lead from pillar to post.

dont agree. If Fortune was able to set a true pace , which he cant the result would for certain have been different
