Do you not understand how different the Vaal Sand is to the Turf? I owned a few horses that only were able to show on that sand - Grass would stop them .
No trainer that prepared his horse for the Sand could be confident on grass - Why do you think the bookmakers cancelled bets? A good horse on Sand can often be useless on grass - Have a look at the form reversal on Antonia Major and Torrelevega with ELECTRIC ELECTRA on the Twilight Tiger run - Grass made all the difference
