Kenilworth 24th January : CTS Stakes



Political Power: Ran a good debut race. Has improved at home. Will prefer the extra distance. Expecting a good run from him.

Matari: Ran a good race last time out. Working well at home. Expecting a good effort.

Zubbadubbadoo: Debut run. Will need a run to tighten up.

Bella Spumante: First run back in Cape Town after relocating from Joburg. Working very well at home. This filly could be in the quartet.

Saint Mary: Dropping back to 1200m. Never gets beaten by far. Doing well at home. Outside chance

Alexis: Tough race against the colts. Working very well at home. Expecting a fair effort but it’s a tough race.

Count Dracula: Will love the 2000m. Bad luck on a wide draw. If he gets luck in running, he’s a horse to include in all perms.

Seek The Storm: Tries the 2000m. Will need to improve on his current form.

Race 7; CTS: dutch #2 PRECURSOR and #11 ALEXIS: for the dutch you get the best weighted on MR's; one, too, is going for four-in-a-row; both are classy; both were easy and impressive winners; one is lightly raced; jock Gavin Lerena is in form; I think the dutch is worth 24/10.

Have a feeling for this too. I think his gallop before the guineas had AoW aspirations a tiny bit concerned ,and although didn't perform there, had some excuse.

I cant really pick anything today that gives me confidence so will be watching everything go down to the start before betting. Think could be a great day for good prices if you can pick em.
