I'm not sure how it all works but Geoff Woodruff was very unhappy with the rules the other day, pointing out that it was a "boundaries" issue Randjies horses couldn't go but Vaal horses could(proximity to the outbreak) BUT Randjies horses can race against Vaal horses during the "lock-down" ???
Makes you wonder whether moving horses to the Vaal first is an avenue to the Cape maybe????? maybe there is a loophole? MdK wouldn't just break all the rules I don't think!....................just guessing of course.

Rule 39.6.2 says "horses cannot be moved or transported...".

This seems insensitive towards the mode of air transport. Should air transport not be given a concession? Is there an area between any Cape Town airport and Kenilworth which is "free" from AHS rules?

How do punters get screwed with the deductions? You will have less risk which is appropriate to the deduction.

The deduction would only adjust your price to what it would be had she not been in the race, so with her in the race you would be getting a better price than if she was not so not really being screwed??
Give everything but up!

Just been sent this message so looks like the all clear will be given for them to travel after Wednesday

"Last AHS death was 28 Nov. Rules state ban may be lifted 40 days after last case. So horses may move directly on Wednesday"
