Not sure if its desperation dropping Supersonic Rock back to 1200m or not?

But it wasnt good enough to beat Chev Abbey the last time they met over 1200m

Abbey 20/1

I know which one id rather back

I backed it 2 runs back e/w and was disappointed. He does seem to have excuses and coming from off the pace with an appie means there could well be another one today. That said I think he has a decent chance if things go his way so at 20 to 1 it's worth a wager. I do think he'd be better suited by racing handier and making use of his light weight.

Race 1 - I like the eachway chances of Supersonic Rock. He doesn't seem to stay past 1400m and his run 2 starts back he was kept wide and was there for a long way in the straight. That was a fair field and he should at least place.

Chancing Lessflashmorecash, only had one run on good ground to date and it wasn't such a bad effort, preferred the price when scratched last week though!! lol

That first race shows the folly of the present objection rule.............if the second horse had interfered with the eventual winner ,any objection would have had the deposit forfeited .......who would have forecast that "but for the intereference"????? ..................subjective rules are dangerous!

Race 2 - some improving 3 year olds line up here and hard to pick one. I do think Redsun will enjoy the 1 draw as last time he didn't get placed easily from a wide draw which cost him a bit. Of the older horses, Munaaseb is c & d suited, has his peak run and gets Yeni. J P's Prince has had a lot of chances and won't be carrying any of my money.
