Race 4, Handicap: dutch #9 EVEN SO & #3 CURRENT EVENT; both are on a hattrick; trainer Snaith is in form; Even So is lightly raced; I think the dutch is worth 16/10, 5/2 is available, ask for 3's.

Race 5, Southern Cross Stakes; dutch #2 FLY BY NIGHT & #1 PRICELESS JEWEL; Priceless Jewel was easy and impressive in her last start; both are classy; both have recently beaten subsequent winners; Fly By Night is on a hattrick; I think the dutch is worth 25/20, 35/20 is available, ask for 5/2.

Race 6, Southeaster Sprint; #1 CAPTAIN OF ALL; easy and impressive in his last start; very classy; lightly raced; runs fresh; nap him.

Race 7, Cape Fillies Guineas; #1 MAJMU; weighted to win by 5.5 lengths; easy and impressive in all her wins; classy; hot Delpech - de Kock combo; nap her.

Race 8, handicap; dutch #2 VINCENTE & #4 MINT MASTER; both were beaten favourites in their last runs; both are lightly raced; Cormack rides; I think the dutch is worth 13/10, but because only evens are available ask for nothing less than 27/20.

Race 9, handicap; dutch #5 MILTON & #3 WESTCHESTER; Milton was easy and impressive in his last start; hot Delpech rides; both are lightly raced; I think the dutch is worth 12/10, 28/10 is available, ask for 9/2.

A lot of favs being mentioned today, looks a tricky card and there is normally at least one who let's down the accies on days like this... not that I necessarily disagree with the selections but I wouldn't be surprised to read a little criticism of some(one)thing a little later.

Anyway, I'll be on Dressed In Cotton and Eastern Front... :whistle:

My approach is :

I take R 500-00 that I can afford to loose.

I have a good time and try to make some money.

If a serious Bet does come along, my Credit is good with a few Bookies.

Most times I make some money. The least I've made was R 2-00 profit for the day, after having a good time, and deducting food and drink.
