really i cant see what all the negativity is about the poly...as it stands for me an extended run like this on the poly,,,is actually good for us form studiers as we can get a true reflection of a horse on a said surface..if it was say 2 times a months...and then grass etc...form would be a nightmare,to assertain...anyway what this bullshit about poly being only for bad horse...give it time a "horse chestnut' may surface(excuse the pun) from the poly...craig u r right...its only on ABC THAT THIS BULLSHIT STEMS....dennis drier ran one of his best horses the other day with anton up on the poly...it romped home..so whats this bullshit about standards...standards still have to set...its still in its infancy...form will tell and punters will start to see the value of the poly....but to keep harping on the same point like a broken record(by much the same crowd)is getting tedious...move on or move out...thats the choice
why dont the same crowd who are so ante poly/dirt...go be critics and tell the racing authorities in the states that the breeders cup be run on grass....dirt is a natural surface ...to my understanding horse love it....i think that ppl here are so staid in their mindset that when change occurs, they cant comtemplate life after that...anyway thats my say on a friday...maybe the comments that i stoked will be attacked like candy by a kid on christmas day.............anyway...back temple rock tonight

Off this rating he should be competitive in this field. He does enjoy a slight pull in the weights with those who ran ahead of him in the Roy Royale race on the 03/10. One for the one-for the-day-brigade.

I am very positive about consistent safe surfaces so I am in favour, for the same reasons as Racing Guru.
What does concern though, is whether trying to put 2 courses within a restricted area like Greyville ,will prove acceptable in the long run..........I do have my doubts.
Craig ,again you confirm trainers and jockeys like the Poly ,so why these pathetic fields????

RF, I am running horses wherever I can. Jockeys have said it is a great surface and it is very smooth to ride and horses don't faulter in divots as on the grass. Trainers say there horses are pulling up well but if their horses don't run up to their expectations, many then blame the poly.
I have 8 runners in the next 2 meetings including my best.

Craig ,you clearly have supported it, but unless that becomes generalised, there must be a danger of the polytrack becoming a bit of a white elephant??

Appears finding a winner on the poly scares the posters, or everyone was shouting their fancies home in PE earlier today which has left everyone hoarse, throats too sore to type an opinion  . Hope the favourite arrives here in race 3.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Flyfirstclass vs 1914 should be a cracker. 1914 most consistent horse around, with 55 up will be hard to beat today...
