Latino Ice, Buddys Falcon/Moonrush and Down Mexico Way look upsets at big prices if performing to their best.

Thanks Malcolm, I agree on Twilight Tiger - slow away last time, Striker to get her to jump today - barring the first timer does not seem to have too much to beat - good value (especially for places) imo

Latino Ice back with Gunther and Sand is a serious place bet 22/10(4 places)

Chaps any comments on Disco Boy today? Well drawn and front running tactics the way the sand has been running could suit in my opinion.

I thought you would ask about last nights nkomo
Intandokazi means favourite one
I am also reluctant to post as I simply refuse to substantiate my selection

I don't know about cattle etc., but I love the favourite one

R1 Not the strongest of fields so if taking to the surface Alice Springs must have a major chance. My hunch is that she will and that she will win. But, I am still "nervous" about the jockey booking, no top three finish since early July and no winner since early April. In fairness, the prices indicate that he has perhaps not been given the best of rides but, even so, a concern and at around evens I would prefer to look for an e/w opportunity rather than risk AS. If coming back to form Latino Ice would have a chance but the Francis stable remains low key. The Erasmus stable has shown signs of improvement of late and all three of their runners have something of a chance. My preference is for It's Magic who has performed creditably on both visits to the course but, given that Twilight Tiger was slow away when they met lto, and now gets Striker up, I think it probable that TT will overturn the 1.25l deficit. TT's stablemate, Starsinhiseyes, has a fair chance of taking to the surface but with Striker (3-2-1 record in his last 7 rides for the stable) up on TT one would have to think she is the stable elect, the former though has found some early outside market support. Contreau and Seattle Fairy also have a chance of taking to the surface and Supa Sami is likely to do so. Iwannabe was not so far behind IM and TT on debut and could be thereabouts depending on the improvement that run may bring about. If you can wait until two minutes before the off to get stable comments on AS (unless someone has heard already?) then maybe do so but as of now I'll brass her. Plenty have something of a chance but I'll go e/w on TT... TWILIGHT TIGER x ITS MAGIC x SUPA SAMI

Race 1 - 1st timer - OVERS - Stable is coming to form at the right time and this horse is running against a very moderate field. Will be hard to beat IMO. I make the danger the Diane Stenger runner - IWANNABE - 14/1 and 16/10 a place..
Race 6 - Is a Re Run of the last race they all met except for Striker now sitting on Breathless. I dont think its going to make much difference so SIBYL my next best bet on the card..
Race 7 - I like BEAT THE ODDS at 20's. I think this horse will run a forward race today of the 52kg's and also back on sand. 5/2 a place is good value.

R2 Despite the break I think Carole Bouquet will take to the surface and win comfortably with Razzle My Tazzle for the exacta. Duke's Idol could be the joker in the pack.
R3 Intandokazi to bring up a Striker treble? Likely imo. Two fair runs on c and not the strongest of opposition. Woodstock Express for the exacta, Marsden the trifecta, La Tourelle the quartet. Ocean's Blitz an unlikely nutter.
R4 Swansong for Where's My Chop? Forgiving the last run from a wide draw but getting on a little too now so a very tentative selection when looking for some value.
R5 Nkomo e/w
R6 Sibyl to hold off Breathless despite the Striker factor. Olympic Spring trifecta.
R7 Angel Gabriel seems to me to not be in the best form recently so I will go with Arctic's Hooligan but Down Mexico Way and Park Ridge should not be overlooked.
R8 Wide open. Bold Flash, would have more appeal but the jockey booking has to be a concern, and Fab Cat my two at big odds but there are a stack in with a chance. Seattle Trade could well take to the surface and be competitive under light weight with Munger up.
Nothing on the card I particularly like though, will play some small accumulators and exactas etc.
Be(s)t of luck to all

I quite like Disco Boy as well in the 4th. Don't leave him out of the Pick 6.
I prefer him over the other Lerena runner Beat the Odds.

No obvious positive in the breeding for the surface Colors. Poor run at Bingo.

Englander ... Nothing 100% on AS. I heard that has put up some impressive gallops. I am always dubious about newcomers but i have done the double AS/ Intando last night 4/1
