It might be wondered how The Apache and Bold Silvano can be included above, so go and look at the July in the 70s and see how many six and seven-year-olds ran at the expense of top three-year-olds (one of the ante-post favourites of 1979 the Mike Bass-trained Cracker Lily didn't get into the race while no fewer than six six-year-olds who had won three races between them the entire season lined up) due to the ridiculous race figure system.
