.....Harry's Son('s) only 2 other older male half siblings also came from Ozz to race in South Africa.....only because they are related to Ruby Clipper the dam of the freshman sire Seventh Rock.....none of this family ever performed in Ozz as well as Ruby Clipper and her son and now possibly Harry's Son..... and the shrewd ex-saffer bloodstock agent in Ozz keeps our local chaps buying this family.....

Harry's Son has to be the best at the moment as he beat all comers last Saturday so he does have the best 2yr old unless they race again before Friday.

Three year old's will be a different story I think MLJet has more scope than ABurn but as always the best three year old's have not been stepped out yet or have had one/two runs so far.

Laffs horse was lucky to win, but you need luck in this game,Mljet very unlucky,I really think Laff horse will not beat Mljet again enless MJ rides him the same way.

Mljet was certainly unlucky in the race in question but if you wanna see stiff watch Harry's Son 2 runs leading up to this race, he could be and imo is something special..

and De kocks horse with Bernie up came from very far back so was unlucky as well - but top effort and well done to Laff - the number is up

David, i would have thought that Carry on A was a great candidate but she was beaten by Same Jurisdiction so cannot get the award ahead of SJ. Africa B would have won it if he did not race last Saturday as he would be the only unbeaten Grade 1 winner.

I am not saying it is fair but based on the rationale previously used by "The Panel" Harry & SJ should get the awards.

I still believe that there should be a points system.
