Expecting a good day and not one runner without a money chance if they bring their A game. Happy with the jockeys on and in some races it will come down to jockeyship to see who beats who from stable. Also happy with draws and hope to win some races. We will be trying very hard with all runners, dont leave out any in your perms.

Anger is an enigma. The yard talk about his ability but in the same breath say they are never sure " which horse" will turn up on the day. Third run in three weeks? Again taking on some very hard knockers.Either Anger or load up.

For me Von Willingh Smit is the best trainer by some way in Kimberley. Unlike the others he runs his horses sparingly and the success he has had has been phenomenal. His runners in race 6 prove that point. I have now gone completely off the topic !

Do you believe the weights make that much of a difference over 1000m, although there is a 9.5kg swing at the weights, if you watch that replay of Anger winning last time in Kimberley he didn't come off the bridal, watch the runners behind him - they just couldn't keep up. Anger then came out and beat a very respectful bunch at the Vaal sand last Thursday where if many of those runners he beat where in this field today would probably be as short as 8/10.

Anger will doddle this field if he settles, first 100m he must find the front and then it's all history from there.
