Race 2 Bois de Var looks very good ew value at 14/1, considering that he is top of the Sporting Post ratings. Admitedly he is a 7yo, but he has been pretty consistent.

R1 Ballyhoo x Chellvan Abbey x Captain Great
R2 Money For Love x Vauclair x Bois De Var x Albarakah
R3 Zenith x Epic Illusion x Sleepinseattle
R4 Frosted Flakes x Sugar Prism x Arctic Desert
R5 Lupin x La Salle x For The Count
R6 Crown Of Gold x Drill Sergeant x Key Castle
R7 Captainofmysoul x Lielums x Variety Star
R8 Gold Park x Sartorius x Sebastian Bolt

R3 I have nibbled on Aceceber Rubi as Koetzen quite often gets one to win unexpectedly on debut here but I think the e/w value could be with Lucky Jay. Has done most of his campaigning on the Poly didn't like the blinkers last time and drops back in trip to the minimum, he has 2 places from 3 starts over c/d, Epic Illusion will have come on for the run but was beaten 2.5l by Al Capp. Last time over this d, LJ was 0.25l behind Free Flight (Poly) who then beat Al Capp by 2.25l two runs later over the turf 1000. In the LJ race, he finished 5th with the 2nd and 3rd winning nto and FF 2 runs later. Epic Ill is 5/2, LJ 33/1... looks decent e/w or place value to me.

R6 Key Castle's form may have not been the best but he was only 1l off the winner Crown Of Gold in this event last year and is now 3kgs better off. Worth a small e/w chance at around 25s.

R7 Arrow Heart is the idiot for me here. Has been fading campaigned over further recently but won her maiden over c/d by over 8l and 2 runs later won over 1300 (Poly). Obviously they were against much weaker but at around 50/1 possibly worth digging deep in the pocket for that elusive R2 for an R1 e/w. Conquering Queen was an Agent shocker lto and has been thrown in at the deep end but these Agents, huh, I dunno (shaking head with a scornful look), they do like to work their "miracles" to p1ss us all off and take our hard earned for their greedy little minions lol... maybe dig even deeper for the R1 and have 50 cents each/way ;)

R8 Took Gold Park at 40s yesterday and 11/2 4 places (looks like it might have been a good move! here's hoping!!) and only "unfortunate" circumstances stopped me taking the 16/1 on Seb Bolt... both in with very good shouts here imo.

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)
