I am Bob but it is rare that commentator calls one that he thinks too close to call and to my eye Red Peril got up, no doubt... even without the ridiculous angle you have to look at. But I have been done by it too many times now to go just on my eye. Seemed to me that Plummer was 100% sure too. the guy in the studio probably doesn't even know where the line is (like 99% of us!)

Whether correct or not Bob, and however outlandish the thought might be, perhaps a phone call or two from "influential" people helped get that result changed. I have said it before and I will say it again... I have zero trust in CT racing, too many "strange" things happen there whether it be at the finish, letting appies get 50 lengths clear of the field once a month, deciding to give your horse an up close and personal look of the rear-end of the horse directly in front rather than finding a clear, and no doubt more aesthetically pleasing for the horse, path etc etc etc

Let me know if I start getting close to potentially causing ABC strife and I will (sort of) back off... B)-

Double Play of Light onto Catchphrase (27 to 1)

POL ran against stronger last time and has 3rd run after rest

Catchphrase didn't settle round the turn and should be better suited by a faster run 1200m

hi just spoken to ernie rodriguez stipendary steward to ask if they can please show the photo finish on tellytrack as no one thought it was a dead heat and he advised that the computer did not function so the judge decided from the video that it was a dead heat.Racing becoming a joke

and we should believe that??? I thought the judge previously declared 2 the winner anyway? so why did he review it and change his mind?

We are able to take photo's from space of things on earth yet we cannot get a correct picture using a camera and Laptop of a finish line - How on earth do they do it in the Olympics? Maybe South African Racing should move away from the naked eye and use technology that the rest of the world uses!!

Perhaps one should find out for how long this problem with the photo finish has been going on??? I almost certain it's been on off for a year ! Or perhaps I'm told ...Pathetic
