I have a few horses from the Stewart Stable rated right up there today, and for some reason all the inmates of that stable seem to be mudlarks.....................would be surprised if they don't have a winner (or even 2) today!

Talk about kissing your own sister.
Betted on Conglomerate in the first and then started doubting my self. So I took a cover bet on Valerin but got distracted ( bloody phone). So I got mixed up in my calculations and ended almost square:P This day can only get better LOL

Big stables 2nd or 3rd strings with a low draw has suited me well at Durbanvile in the past

Haven't posted for a few days, hope we've all had a few winners in the meantime.
R7 - Varistar. Well worth a try here at double figure odds in an open race. Ran really well last time after winning his maiden. All his best runs have come at Kenilworth but he's shaped okay here in the past, so I think that effect may have been overstated in his price. He was a huge drifter last time out, so you'd have to expect that connections were surprised he got so close. That was a good race too, with all those who finished in front of him having strong form coming into the race. There was a fairly inexperienced apprentice on board too, who's replaced by Richard Fourie (on board for his win on his penultimate start).
The ground is a slight worry but he's acted on slightly similar before and at these prices (12/1 currently with UK books), I've backed him in a single. I had him at around half those odds.
