Had one bet, bit speculative but one I've been following for an age (never backed her, mind!) but think today might be the day where we see a lot better.
20:30 Worcester - Etania. I was there when she fell at Towcester in a Novice Hurdle last season. She didn't jump well and continues to be a bit sketchy with her jumping but she was travelling really well that day and the market support that came for her, suggested that her shrewd stable fancied her chances. It's not worked out for her since then, but she has shown promise on occasions. Her run at Warwick in a Novice race hinted she should be winning when staying on from the back of the field and her run on her last start wasn't all bad, as I don't quite think she was suited by the small field and how the race was run. She wasn't beaten far anyway and it was a definite step in the right direction.
She's been dropped 7lbs in the weights since then and should enjoy today's race. The flat track and better ground will suit (based on her runs earlier in her career). The big field will mean she should settle nicely and this race lacks strength in-depth, with the large field masking that most of these are very moderate. Maybe Etania is one of them but at odds of around 16/1 now, I've backed her to finally fulfill some of her earlier promise.

Chester R2 - Psychometry - Good pedigree & bred for this trip & can only improve as a 2yo. Should be in the top 2..
Raining like hell at Chester, upset in this race. Secret Pursuit & Anipa?
Rather just watch the race.confused smiley
