I prefer Nuggets to Shepherd's Song (and no chance of 'a little thunder shower) - but Nuggets (although running his best races here) often gets so far out of his ground, that even finishing fast normally earns him a place only - very open contest imo.

I like the 2 juveniles in the 3rd - Mystic Express only 7.5 lengths behind Majmu and Royal Revenge also a very good effort behind One Free Day (after being slow away) - boxed exacta the way to go imo.

In the 4th I think Captain Aldo has improvement to come and could give Tiger Sight a run - TS much too short in the betting imo

Some very tough handicaps make up the last 4 races on the card - I'm loading up in those.

Enjoy (tu)

Knockout Johnny is my place bet tonight while ESCUDO is my best bet to win - AMBER JET also worth a bigger than normal punt - LESLEY STRONG worth a place punt - SACRED TEMPLE include in large perms and Quartets - JET SCREEN showing consistent form and could well close the meet.

Shepherds Song has worked well, should go close, but can be highly strung, so hope lights don't get to him.

I am with you all on Dirtydealinmamma, based on her last run on inside course. She flew at Moggytwoshoes and would have beaten us in another stride or two. Moggy went on to win her next start in a Pinnacle plate and then ran 2nd after that on a day when the frontrunners seemed to stay there...Tonight its the outside course for Dirtydealinmamma and this should be right up her alley, as well as the jock on top. Took smalls this am, place S.Song onto her to win.

putting the whole R966.00 I collected from the KZN Pa onto the Turffies

PA: 11 x 5/9 x 1/11 x 2/9/10/12 x 2/4 x 1/5/7/8 x 1/4/7 = R384 taken (2.51 times)

In or out

Frost last week at Turff. On sat the going showed that it was firming up. For that reason, I would first want to see Flag of France go down to the start.... as he was reported not striding last time.
