Webb hardly ever gets a big match nowadays. Maybe its his punishment for not convincing Ferguson to stay

Martin O'Neill? Would be cheap to buy him out of his contract with Eire...
Roy Keane is his assistant over there.

I read that Webb is a Rotherham supporter...cannot understand the alleged bias in favour of Ferguson / United...:S
@cnc...I've read your previous post/s about referee bias...we rant about poor decisions in all sports be it rugby, soccer, cricket, etc...and these seem to be more in favour of home teams rather than a team irrespective of where played...
Guess the wheel has turned and the alleged bias (as intimated by Mourinho) has moved to another team in the North West...

the only reason why Liverpool will win the PL is that they have had no European football so maybe it will be a good thing for your side if United fail to get into the Europa League

@cnc...even without Europe next season, United will not win the league again until they get some pace into the team...I re-iterate that pace creates space and the EPL is such that you have to be an athlete first and then a footballer to play in it...and from defence to midfield to forwards there is no pace...
New manager has to start at the back...strengthen the defence, get pace into the midfield to get attacks moving quicker before opposition defences are set and have some-one that can play alongside Rooney...he looked disinterested and indifferent for large parts of this year...
My United player of the year was De Gea...despite the howlers that he committed, the season would have been a lot worse had he not made some crucial saves when left high and dry by his defence and midfield not falling back or too slow to do so...

I see that Fabregas is going to be available in the summer. United wanted him last summer so I guess that they will be going for him again.

Wouldn't make sense though...Mata, Fabregas, Kagawa play in similar roles and when Rooney drops back he falls into same space...that's part of the confusion that Moyes introduced when he tried to play Mata, Kagawa and Rooney...all wanted to be central behind a striker leaving space out wide for opposition wing-backs to support their wingers against United defence...
If they sell Mata and / or Kagawa then it would makes sense to pursue Fabregas...

Agree again
Pace is what is needed (not the Valencia kind).
look at Liverpool. The have had most games won in the first 20 minutes.

Moyes had to go. He could not be trusted to spend 200 million pounds wisely

He was my choice of manager to replace Ferguson but he is getting on a bit (early 60's now) and wouldn't be able to spend 10-15 years at club...
He achieved success as a player at Notts Forest and as a manager at Celtic and Leicester so knows what it is and takes to be a winner...
