sure Lionel but remember this is the first year that Liverpool have been helped. United were helped for 20 years by the refs and that's why us anti United brigade complained.

take a bet then as they are 14/1 and copy and paste it so that we can see if you are that confident

CnC, I'll argue that this is the first year that Liverpool is making use of the "help".
BTW, United have been awarded the 3rd most penalties since the start of the PL, behind 'Pool and Arsenal respectively.
Last season, Utd were awarded 6 (joint 3 rd with 'Pool, Fulham and City). Chelsea had 11 and WBA 7.
The season before, UTD were awarded the 8 th most with 5 penalties. Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, City, West Ham and Blackpool with more than them.
Please, can anyone substantiate the fallacy of refs helping UTD????

Lionel are you for real?
I will be on here for three days without taking a break giving you examples of how the refs have helped United.
Lets start with the first Premiership title
The 4th official puts up 5 minutes with United losing 0-1 at home to Sheff Wednesday.
in the 3rd minute of injury time Bruce equalisers with a header
in the 7th minute, yes 2 minutes longer than they were supposed to have played Bruce scores again and United win the league.
DTF where are you when I need you. Lionel there is a thesis on how United were gifted title after title. This season just proves that as Ferguson is gone and look where you are sitting in the table. How can the same team, with a new world class signing to boot, be as much as 20 points behind Liverpool. Its about a 40 point swing from last season.
I can go on and on and on but it will only bore you and if you are a real sportsman you will arrive at the conclusion that United were gifted many of their titles by refs who failed to send off United players when they should have and also failed to book players thus they did not get enough bookings during the course of the season to be suspended. A couple of years ago the Arsenal manager kicked a bottle of water in his own technical area. The ref sent him off. In the same match Ferguson man handled the 4th official. What punishment did Ferguson get? Just a smile from the ref.

@CnC:
Yes.
The referees additional time has been the subject of disputes for many a matches, and will continue to be so. It's natural however for one to remember the ones one wants to remember, to suit ones own arguments etc. Have Utd been the only team to benefit from this additional time?
What does make Utd stand out from the others is their ability to change games in those last minutes of the games. The most famous is off course, the champions league win over Bayern. During those additional minutes, the other teams also have equal opportunity to score as well!!
Or, in the world that you, DTF and your fellow cultists live in, are they in on the plot as well??

yes but the point is those extra minutes are given with United losing. So if the other side do indeed score it would make no difference to the result.
