2014 Charity Turf Challenge

C'mon chasps and chaspesses....time is getting short. Where the discussion?? Like Shrek, I will be putting in around six entries with four anchor horses

I am thinking of Captain America, Yorker, Beach Beauty a bankets but need a sprinter. Via Africa is the obvious choice but she may be put on ice after the Computaform sprint......thoughts gentle folk?

Sure she only ran in one race last kzn season Madji,she is the only sprinter that stands out this year,folly to ignore her,but finding the right sprinter could pay dividends

I found the stayers very difficult last year,but seal looks like hitting form.

Very hard to come from behind in this comp as its mostly the same runners competing against each other all season,so a good start is essential imo.

Contador still only 4 yrs old so could repeat last years win in the Gold Medallion..... and last win was full of merit.

I always battle with my sprinters and distance runners. I am also banking Captain America and Beach Beauty and will wait until after Saturday as to which other two to bank. Like Cherry on the Top last year I might bypass Louis the King after a long hard highveld season.

This is very risky because this horse is a definite runner for Vodacom Durban July. I have him in all my entries. He might also run in the Daily News.

He may well run in both - but nothing definite about it - his trainer might keep him at home - especially after what happened to Yorker in KZN last year - my guess is he might be nominated and depending on the draw, they would go from there (if the horse comes Saturday in fine shape)

Just a heads up (for free) .... take note that 6 of the 10 feature meetings take place at GREYVILLE. This must be taken into consideration when selecting runners.....course suitability !!!
