Are these refs full time and get paid a wage or is this just their weekend hobby. So much money in pro sport today that they need to jack up the refs otherwise its going to become a laughing stock. Last weekend the Stormers were robbed because of bad calling. Its different if they did not have the video evidence so that makes their decisions even worse.

Thanks for updates...had taken Blues +12 at half-time...:)

If defence was poor, reminds me of a Aus-NZ Bledisloe Cup match where NZ dominated first half and Aus came back and final score was +-39-34...commentators were talking about attacking abilities of the two teams and I was wondering where the defences were...:S

Yip - how both the ref and the TV ref could somehow not see what the rest of the world could - v Rensburg lost the ball forwat - should never have been a try - but the Lions deserved something for a great effort in the first half at least

Another poor display from the ref imo - missed some blatantly skew thow-ins into the line-out from the Sharks - also made some other errors that benefited the Reds - but the cherry on the cake was that 'almost try' by Mcleod - watching the last bit over and over, but just ignores the Mvovu knock earlier on - have to adapt the saying from 'that's racing' to 'that's rugby' :(

I think the Sharks were not nearly as good as the score-line reflects - and I think they will really struggle next week at Loftus :P

Frodo, did you watch the same game as me?:S Far more throw in's by the Reds went on the outside of their jumpers than with the Sharks. Hopefully the Sharks will have learnt something today and not try and protect a lead like they did. Sharks by 11 is my long term prediction for next weeks game. I had a great tipping day today with Superbru. Tipped 5/6 winners and only got the Highlanders game wrong. Tipped the Sharks by 13 and the Lions by 3! I hope I can stay in front of my pool!:D
