It's hard to see how Zenit got this far. Remember having a bet on them in their qualifier into the competition proper, forget who they played, could have been a Portuguese team, equally as poor in footballing terms, but I think I aged about ten years. Remember telling myself, "don't wager any money on them ever again".

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

so true Bayern yet you get world class, champion sides who play possibly the best football on the planet and worthy to be in any final, Juventus, not getting through because of one or two silly mistakes at the back in tight matches.

Every English player besides Rooney need to show they worth tonight, I don't think any of them would be starters for the other champions league sides.
I still feel the side is a bit too defensive. I understand united are playing away but away goals prove vital at this stage
