Anton Marcus/Variety Club

VC was impressive last night especially after his prerace sweating
Long john (5lbs) less clocked a faster time BUT VC will improve lengths
But for me the star of the show was Vercingetorix

Well documented poor preparation but his turn of foot was impressive and he will come on a ton for that run......might be changing all my account names and emails from senorsanta to vercingetorix i just love him....

It's nice when they hold off the charging hordes isn't it....

As usual,when you have an opinion and it doesn't sit well with others,you get a load of rubbish spewed out..
If you take your South African hat and scarf off and look at the merits of the race you would understand my point.
As I said I was cheering VC on,I had no allegiance to any other of the other runners and I'm a fan of the trainer.
I just stated a fact,the 2nd is a 80+ rated 7 year old beaten 2 lengths.

Neigh,you can't watch much racing if you think VC is the best miler in the world,that is a ludicrous statement.
Declaration Of War,Toronado,Moonlight Cloud,Olmypic Glory,Mucho Macho Man,that's five of the bat that are pretty good.
Regarding times,Long John was carrying 5lb more.

Dave, Haatheq is a 113 on the AW and a 108 on dirt/turf, officially.

His UK rating is based on the last time he ran in England, which was in July 2010.

87 is it's OR rating..he hasn't improved 26lb from 4years old to 7?

ENGLAND will win The World Cup in Brazil.

IFHA rates both Soft Falling Rain and Variety Club at 120.
That places them joint 14th amongst the turf milers.
Wise Dan is well clear at the top on 129.
