The MDK stable would have some idea of their runner's chances in the second, seeing that Suri was beaten by one of their runner's, Varachino, on debut.

IVANOVICH will improve plenty today and is my place bet of the day - could win - Her dam is an upgrading mare and she'll be the black sheep of the family if she has does not win

Any thoughts on King's Legacy in the 4th? Is Delpech still stable jockey to MDK, if so, why is he not riding Jet Avenger? Salander is still a maiden after 8 attempts and may be better suited to the 1000m. Does have the draw in his favour, but not prepared to punt and find out. King's Legacy on the other hand, any improvement and racing fresh, could go very close (I think). At 13/2 (the win) and 8/10 ( a first 4 place) must represent the value amongst the top three in the betting.

These Seventh Rock horses are good,so b careful in the 2nd race for He Rocks.

As for today's Clairwood meeting, my preferences are:

Race 3 - 1 Lucky Break...clearly best rated of the experienced horses...will place at worst...
Race 4 - 14 Salander - sex allowance to prove crucial over distance...will place at worst...

Race 3 and 4 place double - +- 9/10

Race 10 - 7 Boloval - win price too short though...
