I may be smoking the giggle grass but I like Spectroscopic, who is ludicrously under sufferance. He is however an improver and was never given a chance to win last time.

looked good in the parade ring...and was hacked to the start with his head up...so could not read anything going to post....

So what was Delpech trying flying from the 600? Suppose he knew what to expect from his mount going into the last 200?????

Yes, you may have a poiint, P. I think it was Striker who took Winning Leap to the front and entered the straight by 10 and still won by about 5. But that was years ago. And Striker is on the beach palying with his kid, not riding Winning Leap
