Sharky common sense will tell u that overcoming a bad draw at any track is WAY easier over 1600m-3600.m than in a 1000m dash.

U give an inch at da start and u won't win.

Via Afrika is the best sprinter in SA at the moment, she will bounce back and trounce this exact lot and more.

Fairy isa vvv decent. Filly and to win both races the way she did is vvv commendable, but to write of Via Afrika coz of 2 bad COME back runs( the 1st run was excellent, 2nd run was v flat) anyone believe in 3rd run after rest cherry ripe comeback.

We don't have any superstar sprinters at the moment....comes down to that:) I think a horse like willow magic can beat via Africa at greyville from a good draw or at turfontein. At Kenilworth know..via Africa is a Kenilworth and Scottsville specialist only.

I mean at Kenilworth...she is a Kenilworth and Scottsville horse..turfontein straight or greyville turn even a horse that is not a sprinter like willow magic should beat via africa

I rate Via Africa, she will bounce back most certainly, I just couldnt back her Saterday, prep did not go well i.m.o and jocky engadgements was a telling factor. Like the clanner said, animals connect, totally agree!!

Champions do bounce back.....What a Winter/Jackson/Princess Victoria( Garden Province ) just to name a few.
