Imo if any of the big boys in the game sell their horses you can
Almost guarantee they dnt think its graded race material

I have bought two for good reason.. It's just that the stable has a big problem right now where they are but they will both do well

But we not looking for the graded race material anyway, Two Gun Kid gave us a run in Algoa Cup even though that isn't the reason he was bought.

To buy from Mike and Matthew de Kock is a pleasure as they are completely honest about the horse you are buying and the horses always arrive in great condition.

In PE and Kmb you are looking for horses to win "average" races anything else is a bonus.

Shams, how much would you need to spend to buy a MDK surplass, ready to run, moderate results achieved thus far hoer that's had no niggles.
A rough estimate will do.

Looking over the form and then deciding on that between R80 to R100k . Mauritious can afford to pay more...

At the end of the day Flash Harry MDK only brings top horses into his stable..so when one of his big owners has a dispersal sale you are not buying bad horses you are buying good horses just maybe not Grade material. MDK is one of the best trainers on the planet and therefore the big races are his aim. The last horse I bought at his sale won us two races and I was very happy with that.

thank you boys you confirm what i am saying. for me to pay 100000 for to win "average" race in PE well it is crazy. but i am first to admit i have no bought horse for many year so i dont now what i am talk about. shams the genuine question. if you pay these amount do you have the tickle with the bookies to try balance the books?

If I buy a unraced horse I have hopes that it will train on and be something
Special, thats the dream that the vendors advertise everyday, if I buy a
Horse at a dispersal I know that im buying a horse that is not going
To win that dream race maybe not even a average race

Rather tata my chance on 100k unraced yearling than knowingly
Spend 100k on already proven soupmeat

Just remember many R100k horses never even make it to the racetrack boys!

Soodum, how many horses do you own? We buy and breed our share of babies but that takes time....the amount of juvenile races in PE doesn't warrant too many babies so you need other runners to keep those "dream babies" going. At present we have 50 horses in the yard of which 16 are 2year olds so without the "soup meat" how would you afford to feed those..
Flash it's the only way to make it in PE, have a punt!!
Two Gun Kid has won 4 times and we backed him each time.
Greystone had a nice bet got most of purchase back and Mike stayed in a share
Chill factor will turn the corner very soon ,will earn his purchase price
Dark reign when puts it all together will earn his purchase price
