I think the trainer's career is history, either he will get a hefty penalty or the owner will move his horses. He is ultimately responsible for the mess.

Evening
Also just read this thread and the mind boggles. Just some of my thoughts:
IMO it is par for the course with some Clanners, not addressing the DEED but having a go at others e.g. WTF does Lucky, Louis or any punter have to do with this, unless they were personally involved.
Also IMVHO opnion, with all the checks in place to ensure this does not happen, it does. For this to be a mistake/oversight just does not gel as TOO MANY persons then overlooked TOO MANY checks.
The word RINGER springs to mind. What about the scenario that maybe this Magic Feet will never win a race so substitute it and take a % of the Q and small bets and then this Horse will never be heard of again.
Naturally I feel for those Punters that backed the second Horse as they did their money in cold blood, bloody day light robbery. What chance of LEGAL action by the backers of the second Horse, surely the NHRA< TOTE

Just woke up to this s**t storm......The NHA are truly a bunch of shmucks. How does the wrong horse get past all the checks and balances????
Surely there has to be a passport? A chip? Stable employees with eyes?????
Wow, just wow.
I remember thinking to myself yesterday (as I also took Abbysinia in a big treble), how did Magic feet lose quite a few lengths and come through to win quite cosily at 60/1????
Also running for a stable that, by all accounts was off form?
I would really like to know if it was perhaps maybe even not a maiden that ran?????
I'm really glad that Tapdance didn't win, otherwise I would be calling the NHA this morning.......
Wow, just wow.................

are we allowed to have a guess?! Maybe it was RODEO MAGIC - is a 3yr old chestnut filly in yard, got similar markings from what i could see on last replay (white blaze, runs with white noseband, couldn't see feet close enough...). Has some decent formlines and been heavily backed a couple times so maybe had a bit of talent...but just speculating...

This has to be a double mistake.:S The horse had to have a jump though the starting stalls before she could race and the id is checked then. It should have been rectified then if there was a problem. It should have been checked through the chip before the race yesterday as well. Something funny. When last did this happen since chips were inserted?

Mr H, that has happened a few times before but should have been picked up when past through the starting stalls.
