Sly, he must have had problems which look to have been sorted out as he has come back well after being off for a year. In fairness he has run to that make in his last 2 runs as well as not far off it in his Jimmy Choo run. From a 2 draw and with his speed I make him a big runner today even off that mark. I make Mighty Var with Striker up the biggest danger with the 6kg (nett 3,5kg with the appy allowance) weight turnaround for a 2,25 length beating, also drawn 1 it will be interesting who wins the battle for the lead.

All the best with your runners today Johnno. I make Tiger Play the one to beat. (tu)

Imo Blazing Sunset has his work cut-out today - last time out everything was in his favor and he got another 8 points for that - will probably go to the front again and set up the race for Hallowed; if you like Mighty Var, have a look at Great Fox - drawn wide, but he has a weight turnaround with BS over more than 10 kg's and also holds MV on that last run to MV - so GF has a place chance imo

Best bet for me definitely Brandewyn in the first - comes out a strong maiden race and should appreciate the step up in trip - the stable has had its fair share of winners lately, so looks hard to beat; a bit short in the betting and another slight concern is that there is one 4 yr od int he race with reasonable form - so I had a bet on B and covered on Dragon Fay

Others that I like is Euphoria in the 4th - only needs to run to her rating to beat these - Striker has taken the ride, so I would assume she is ready after a disappointing sand effort last time; also Lady Muffet in the last appeals - very good last run behind Jet Fever (also in mixed company) so 9/2 not bad value imo

Enjoy (tu)

Frodo ignore BS last run. Look at LBH on his previous start, he would have on the day run a short head behind Goldstream giving it 4,5kg's. Goldstream ran off an 87 and won next time out by 4,5 lengths. I believe BS is improving and the run with Great Fox was his first run after a year break and I believe he has improved since that run. We all know what Striker can do for a horse and I am willing to ignore Mighty Var's last run. Hollowed does love the Course and even though winning over the distance I believe is a better 1200 meters and might get going too late. Should be an interesting race though. (tu)

Guess we will know at 14:51 today - I think they will go fast and Hallowed will come from behind to win going away ::o
