Chisler at 8/1 if repeating its penaltimate run. Also take swingers with King Fernando.

Add the fav and take the trifecta cow home today too
Rob, imo it is very difficult to know. I certainly think one particular stable, and everyone knows who I am talking about, has had less horses about and I have always said that makes Bingo a lot easier to study and results therefore more easily found. If you go back and look at the history of results when that stable is out of form or having few runners, I think that Bingo would have less of reputatipn for shocks. It is of course the number of runners in a field that they can also have which is irritating in the extreme, the winner may only be 10s but they might well have the 2/1 fav as well. In a totally different way, I found the Snaith stable equally aggravating yesterday.
Even that Sham winner, if you look at the times, which I am prone to do, over this distance he had every right to be competitive and on a line through Captivator, you could also make a case for Night Landing. I think if I had done my jottings I may have picked up on it but, as I didn't, its another loser! lol

I agree E..........that last race had a more narrow handicap spread than the average Pinnacle plate,so it was a fairly open race.....According to the "live" exotic tickets ,it didn't fool the shrewdies......lol

Never run at the course before, I like to see how they do there first before backing them. If taking to the surface could be a runner.

CnC if taking to the surface of course a chance but off 26 weeks, has been a beaten fav in 6 of his last dozen or so starts and a fair drop in distance. If I was jotting I would say watching brief unless a huge price and then I might nibble

I really really hate the amount of late scratchings in SA, that's my second one today and no time to change. What a complete waste of time they make the whole process. About time something was done about it, nowhere near as many late take-outs anywhere else in the racing world as far as I am aware :X
