The track is tight go low or go home seemingly

Here are my opinions about polytrack/tapeta racing all around the world.

Horses who run well on grass tend to act on poly/tapeta as well. horses who are more likely to act on sand/dirt fare less well on these surfaces.

The trainers should be careful of horses who work very well on the sand tracks back home and think they will reproduce on the poly.....they probably won't.

Sand is very heavy and poly is very light. If a horse shows pace on the sand he will probably do too much on the poly.

I would suggest watching the first few race meetings on poly in SA. I'm not saying favorites or supported horses won't win, just be a little careful. There will be an adjustment time.
