Re Ilha Bela - I think she is value at the current price - I'm hoping that a few people see it the way you do, and that she will drift come race time - I'm not worried at all about the 2nd run after a rest (this is the de Kock stable after all) and over the 1800 stand side the draw is also not that big a factor imo - she ran only 4.5 lengths behind Heavy Metal receiving only 1.5 kg's and while she has disappointed at times, this field does not seem particularly strong - 2nd highest rated Royal Bencher needs to improve big time from his last start to run anywhere near his rating (and is well held by Pierneef on that run); Straw Market at his best does look the main danger imo, but needs to improve on his last 2 efforts, while Master Sabina has yet to prove he is in this league imo. Pierneef has run better than his rating imo last time out and could be the 'dark horse'.
What I will say is that if she does not win tonight, imo she might as well stay in her box for the Summer Cup; would be nice to know the stable's thoughts on her - is she running tonight with the view that she needs to win and perhaps earn a couple of MR points ensuring her a run in the Summer, or are they of the view that she has done enough to get in and therefore this is just a 'keep her ticking along' run :S
I see the money has come for the de Kock first timer in the last, so they obviously think a lot of her - but the price on Wensleydale has remained around 3/1 ; for me W has been looking for the standside track and being drawn 3 while Square Dance is out at 11, I'm still siding with W.

Hit the usual link this morning mate and it takes you to Gallop, no disrespect to them but not the information required and imo much better card guides about. Nowhere else give the pen etc info?
PS I read you don't like it but MIGHT be some value to be found on the beach racing morrow, if you can look past the jockeys.
Not doing jottings though, it was taking forever as had to check jockey form as much as I was checking horse form! lol

why that was put over 1450m is beyond me - that's a sprinter and I think 1200m far enough - she should win tonight

Thanks mate. Does it never give the pen reading or is it an exception?
Surely there is somewhere "official" where this info is provided... no?
