What makes it even worse with regards the youngsters is that we send Lindgard, who was impressive in pre season out on load to Birmingham and he responds by scoring 4 goals on his debut on Saturday and then we also send out Nick Powell to Wigan and he scores on his debut as well yesterday.
Surely Zaha and Januzzi are better than Valencia and Young at this moment in time but I can just pre empt that Moyes is going to panic and in comes Giggs!
Smalling is not a right back he is a center half, end of story! Moyes has some tough decisions to make!

Solidify the defence and then the midfield will take of it's self.

Young and Valencia cannot make the grade at United as wingers.

they both cant deliver decent crosses... we know Rooney and Rvp are useful in the box but they have to take the corners which means we have less targets at corners. if we playing with wingers then they got to be proper wingers running down the wing and linking up with the left/Right backs and quality crosses.

So where does this leave young ?
Well he could play in the 10 slot but then again we have rooney and Kwagwa who would be better options than him.
he can only be a squad player then giving key players a rest when we winning and playing in league cup games against smaller sides.

As for Valencia - Maybe Right back

I agree defence needs to be more solid, no place for Smalling and Valencia mind not on the game at present but an option at full back.
Young has no confidence going forward and always has to come back to right foot easy to defend as he will never go outside the defender .:S

I think we all can see the issues that are compounding the problems in the team.

Agree Adnan , Zaha, Kagawa, Rafael/ Fabio will all do a better job.

There was a game 2 seasons ago ( or maybe early last season) when United used Carrick, Anderson. and the De Silva twins as midfielders. That midfield ran a riots and I think we won the game 4-0.

The De Silva twins , in my my opinion are the most complete footballers. The are quick , can pass the ball with accuracy, can defend and can go forward . They are not afraid to have pot shots at goal.

Use them Moyes please. Discard Young and Valencia. Welbeck needs to stop his fancy footwork in front of goal and exert some power in his shots goal ward.
