you definitly havent watched the british and australian racing channels then...considering that sky racing and tellytrack started at about the same time 20 odd years ago you tell me which is the better of the 2

I am sure that where race horses are concerned you have forgotten what I must still learn but posting that this bloke is world class.. you must have had one to many last night or you are a buddy of his. What I have seen and heard on ATR I believe that he is millenia away from been world class

Racing UK in the UK is world class,channel 4,bbc and at the races employ dumplings like TT

Bob who is the lady that comes on before the race and has a time lag between telling the viewers that the horse is evens and that is
2 decimal odds on the tote and when she has the exacta in a 2 horse race " I called the exacta there"

as a punter i really couldnt care how bad a persons voice sounds or if he or her has no control of the english language AS LONG AS THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT ...knowledge about racing, having an eye for horses in the parade ring and how they canter down to the start CANNOT BE BOUGHT but a presenters skills as a speaker can be improved ...i recall gavin venter coming on site concerned about how he came across but the punters who i spoke to couldnt give a damn because when he spoke he spoke sense and they listened..as he went on gavins presenting skills improved plenty

Yep P, gav was doing a great job , it was great having someone with a clue working in the hardest racing region for the punter in SA , big pity he was not allowed to have an opinion while working for TT
