SA rugby is only strong when WP are strong and when Stellenbosch are strong then WP are strong. You Bulls fans with your pink tops and your brandy and coke dont know what you talking about. You only win because of all the penalty kicks you get and because your flyhalf is not a bad kicker.

I see the exciting Cheslin Kolbe is playing for WP on Saturday and Shrek's money-making machine Fourie is captain. Must admit that on paper the WP team looks better than the Bulls......but the game is not played on paper :D

That is another SA sporting falace, like proteas batsmen cannot play spin...I dont think Jake White had too many players from WP when we won the WC.

The Currie Cup is a little higher in my eyes than the Vodacom Cup. Holds very little interest for me anymore.

Chicken, Paarl Gim, Paarl Boys & Paul Roos made up the WP Craven week team this year that won the 'final' Most of these boys will go to US who is by far the biggest and strongest rugby club in SA. Maties have proved themselves over and over, but the WP selectors will rather buy crap from overseas or import players from other provinces. 1 example. WP buy's Gerhard van der Heever from the Bulls, but they let JJ Engelbrecht (now an up and coming Springbok) go to the Bulls. They let Catrakilles go to the Kings, but they pay over a million for Jantjies. I can carry on and on. Gaan my verstand te bowe. WP (Boland being the feeder province) is losing large amount of players because of 'politics' in WP. Very sad. Doc Craven must be spinning in his grave. (That said with respect) I cannot believe that the best coach/manager is sitting in a studio analysing rugby games. Mallet turned down offers from the Sharks & Bulls to coach for them.....why? This ex Ikey loves WP!!!!! Make him coach or director or something, but they need him. Maar nou ja :S

seems to me like WP is like Arsenal. Sell all the best players so that the board of directors can live on their private islands and own private jets etc
