Looking forward to seeing THH ratings as there is one horse I fancy strongly tomorrow.

Been well placed and can run on both surfaces. (tu)
Can you clarify what you mean by "jockey strike" when Strydom is his regular pilot?

Agree my bet for the day is in that Race with the Jock who is on fire up.

Speed Ratings for main contenders with previous Vaal Sand form –
Race 1 MJP 1450m
65…News Flash 10/1
??…Evergreen 5/10
Evergreen to take on the LJE brigade with News Flash a natural for the quartets.
Race 2 MDN 1800m
83…Nad’s Pride 10/1
80…Dragon Fay 5/2
74…Nick of Time 25/1
74…Atlas Grove 66/1
72…Hobb’s Flight 40/1
68…Maybe Baby 75/1
68…Big Lion 33/10
The top 2 look the part here where a lot of the field have ‘exposed form’, however glad this is not part of the PA as it may not be that straightforward. Unsure of the Big Lion (Cockney Tiger) form line, Nick of Time has upset potential at a good price.
Race 3 MDN-F 1000m
74…All the Tens 18/10
73…Rolling Ruby 3/1
70…Spotakova 7/1
66…For Your Eyes Only 20/1
61…Berryfields 10/1
57…Carousel 66/1
Like the two top rated although would be more confident with higher draws.
Race 4 MR 68F 1000m
90…Prolan 11/2
80…Shiver ‘n Shake 9/2
80…Show and Tell 10/1
77…Boujis 8/1
??…Irish Flyer 11/2
A re-production of his maiden win makes Prolan a big runner, if not, the next 3 listed are expected to fight out the finish with the AGL sand debutant Irish Flyer (related to Flame Fighter who did very well in her 2 sand runs – Sept’11) one to watch out for.
Race 5 MR 88 1200m
100…Lord Hawke 9/2
..97…Dennis the Menace 33/10
..96…Hallowed 10/1
..96…Yukon Gold 5/1
..95…Hang Fire 10/1
..95…Fall of Troy 16/1
Now the fun starts.
It is very unusual for a ‘lower class’ VS winner to jump in class and win again. However, Lord Hawke’s win was emphatic and with the optimistic betting support one is left thinking there is more to come. Yet, more inclined to go with Hallowed backed up by Yukon Gold.
R6 MR 103 1450m
108…Magic Smoke 7/1
107…Right Beauty 7/1
107…Storm Surf 11/2
106…Follow the Piper 8/1
105…Crown Heights 14/1
104…Eugenes 8/1
Really closely rated event. Wide open. Likely to be with the Azzie Magic and Crown Heights as the outsider to surprise.
R7 MR 79 1450m
101…Panjo 33/10
..95…Decameron 22/10
..92…Divine Invitation 4/1
..89…Sermon 12/1
..88…African Flame 10/1
Forgiving Panjo for his disappointing last run…banker on the day.
R8 MR 68F 1000m
82…Melli Mou 5/1
82…Figurine 16/1
80…Favourite Daughter 33/10
77…Seattle Fairy 12/1
75…Dying Thunder 33/1
75…Twilight Elva 8/1
Tricky race. Going with the top 3, not just because of the ratings…Melli Mou as the trainer is proficient at VS, Figurine because of ‘value’ and Favourite Daughter because of her superior last 2 runs and all 3 from advantageous draws!
R9 MR 76F 1600m
96…Top Talent 11/2
94…Miss K 8/1
93…Olympic Spring 5/1
92…Aloha Bay 25/1
89…Elegant Bay 14/1
89…White Party 12/1
86…Beautiful Dawn 14/1
86…Summer Sari 40/1
Going with the top 3 again in the PA and P6.
Looks a most interesting card.

Can tell you one thing.Or rather let me congratulate you now if you can score a double.Maybe apart from the fifth this is not a card to have even R10 on.
Leaving today to the pros as I feel I'm not good enough. As it is my only likely winner seems no good thing
Dennis The Menace
Hallowed
Money Doesn't Count
Hang Fire
Yukon Gold

Most consistent, and prolific, horse on sand at present is Henry Higgins.
From 20th Sept’12 his speed ratings are –
92, 92, 94, 100, 106, 97, 95, 106, 107 and 108 on his last win…FANTASTIC.
