We always upset when we lose a big bet, what about the punters who win a big bet in that way :S

How would you feel if all the doctors in a particular hospital were called murderers? Or all the shopkeepers in an area were called thieves? Balance and honesty is what we should strive for and accusations without proof should not form part of the debate. Drinking and driving is dangerous as is typing in that state!

Mr H
but when a scandal breaks at a UK hospital unfortunately the WHOLE hospital IS tarnished.
FACT is often we find people apologising for actions taken by others 15 years ago!
In the case v Larry Flint where he had suggested that the reverend had lost his virginity to a goat. When cross examined the reverend is asked " do you believe any person that attends your church ever thought that this was true?" to which he replied "of course not"
Same thing applies here, an OUTLANDISH statement should be ignored BUT questions still need to be asked.you either for or against. If you feel hard done by your peers in kimberley the SPEAK up as Lotz did the other day.

Easy I cannot agree - these are people who earn a living training - It is a business and we have laws protecting them so you cannot accuse people of things without proof and damage their business - This is not Salem - If there is proof produce it - I have never ever thought Racing is completely clean nor do I think it is as rotten as some make out - All I ask is a fair shake for everyone - You cannot convict on rumors so let's just put up the facts and if it is found that someone is rotten kick him out

i agree we cant convict on rumours BUT goodman has mentioned roids a few times now there is clearly a problem. Its time that the "kgb" mentality kicks in and the neighbor spies and reports.

Perhaps the problem lies with the NHRA - I stated somewhere before that what Lotz allegedly said(I did not see the interview) was a case of bringing Racing into disrepute OR it could be a case of riding Racing of a bad reputation. If it is indeed true that the trainer made such remarks then I await the NHRA's reaction . I personally have seen the log term sideeffects of certain steroids on my pets(dogs) who needed them for health reasons and to give them to an animal that is not sick is disgusting!!
