N2 Umtata/Kokstad is frustration :X

N2 East London to Mthatha is just as much of a frustration. The whole road is a frustration. But the worst was the Stop/Go just before Kokstad which, last time I traveled there (about 2 months ago), seems to have gone halleluya - but I did go through on a Sunday. One could easily wait there for 1/2 hour and still be another 1/2 hour grinding up that long hill Brookes Nek stuck behind some truck.

Just factor in an extra hour or two and go patiently. If you can drive on a Sunday it will make matters MUCH easier but maybe that's not possible.
