If Gothic is a shambles what is Wild One, ran behind Gothic in the Derby and behind Rock Cocktail in the Daily News.

This is the first July I have seen horses under 3 and 4 kg sufference and there is no superstar off a high MR in the race.

They seem to have gone with the Gauteng form at the expense of a horse such as KOP. Dissapointed River Crossing could not get in. IMO Wild One, Gothic and Punta Arenas should have had no business in this race, does not mean that either of them can't go on and win it though. Gonna be plenty with big chances, Pomodoro could go back to back, Run for It I fancy but 9/2 is crazy, CTN and Wiley Hall should prove best of the 3 year olds. Gothic looks a bad inclusion but he may just have improved enough to win it. Pomodoro, CTN, Shogunnar my 1,2.3.

gothic finished ahead of tellina in the derby so he deserves a chance . i agree abt rock cocktail getting in . gauteng feature races formlines seem to be weak .imo wagner will end up like happy landing finishing in the back of the field.
the performance of war horse in the jubilee makes the 3yr olds form look very weak.

Wats wrong with gauteng formlines?
Wylie hall proved the formline boss.
And if by the derby run gothic is 2 kg's better off than wylie hall.
Not judging the run but, another 100m on the daily news run, he wud've eaten vericingetorix and CTN!
JUST BE GLAD that the boys have a runner in the BIG race.whether it runs last or first.
It shows they got the balls to try.
GO GOTHIC ! SHOT BOY!
