Nice tough card today. Worked out my PA and then looked at the betting and saw my banker is at 6/1 :, I either looked at the race wrong or Dark Knight is good EW value. My PA today for R1,800 play a %:

Dark night worth an eachway nibble at 6/1 (tu) but is an open race. I reckon Sammy Silver a livewire over this C&D.

My money will be on Ink Heart and Gem of Dubai 7/2. four places.

Very tough card - but most can see that <

Some 'value' thoughts (inside track, so maybe those inside draws could prove advantageous)

R1: Competitive, but Rebel Pose improved in blinkers, drawn on the inside and looks each way value to me at 12/1

R2: Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Marcus has come for the stable double - still way too short imo, so I'll stay out

R3: Can't believe that The Best Way is still being shown as a runner - ran in the last at Clwd yesterday :S; does seem a pretty open race, so I think load up

R4: 2nd leg of the Zaki / Marcus double - should win but again way too short imo - Tell My Star to improve over the 1000

R5: Fillies and mares handicap where the draw could play a part; Miss Cantona not bad value imo, but chances to a quite a few including It'sgottobeme (outside draw), Dazzling Moon (drawn 1), Jackie O (may improve on 2nd run up here), Vars Honour (long rest but Striker rides); imo Baluga may prefer 1200 and Stamford Bridge may need the run - Howhighcanufly can also feature if returning to her best form

R6: 2nd toughest race on the card imo - a lot depends on how good Money Grubber is, he may well be good enough to follow up, but if he fails, there's many waiting in the wings including Titano (should improve over this trip), Enchanted Guest, Antartic Call and Serissa (nothing much between them); best roughie imo Eastern Cobbler who has only won once on the turf, but prefers the firmer going and could surprise - imo all of Right To Tango, Carnaby Street and Pierneef are suspect over the trip

R7: Toughest race on the card where all runners except Foreign Reserve hold some sort of chance imo - top 3 for me are Master Entertainer (looking for this trip and not badly handicapped here imo), Sammy Silver (MR dropping and improving after rest) and Soul Singer; next best Bee Keeper (MR dropping, improving after rest and finding betting support and Suetan (out of a staying mare, so improvement possible over this trip)

R8: Slightly easier imo; I think this lies between 5 runners: Mystic Tigress (tough task off a 74 imo, but has been threatening to win), Warrior's Passion (improving 3 yr old, but seems held by Bibbety Bobbety and Stunning Jet) and Catraz (Striker rides)

R9: Not an easy race to close, but Nightingale Grey looks to have scope for improvement and should feature along with Duchess Trenton (disappointed last time when not given the best of rides,and may prefer the slightly shorter trip); best value imo lies with Virginia Sound (never finds betting support but has run well over this sort of trip); the de Kock pair can't be completely ignored (especially Tawakul, who might have needed her last run); imo Sunningdale needs more ground, but must be included in wider plays along with the Gray coupling.
