the pinnacle plate on the same night will draw plenty more appeal than the greyville 1900...its far stronger than the regional summer cup fields of the last few years

With the Top 4 the Pinnacle Plate could easily be a Grade 1 event. Lovely field. (tu)

I see General Sherman is carded to run on Saturday at Turffontein (to blow away the cobwebs) and then in the 1900 on Wednesday. Go and collect the lot on Wednesday night:D
