Maybe they can race the first two or three, then have the customary jockey protest followed by track inspection and after a lengthy delay, announce to all of our surprise that racing has been abandoned due to unsafe conditions. Also don't forget to lock our tote funds played into exotics for many many hours, so we can't bet on any other meeting >:D<

Or maybe just abandon it(:P)

On my way to Clairwood now hopefully the rain stopped in time to save the meeting...

Not a cloud in sight this morning, but there was a deluge the entire day yesterday. If the meeting does go ahead it would be a miracle. If the meeting is abandoned, there are two Clairwood meetings (15th & 19th) coming up, they could put the Highland Night Cup and Pinnacle Stakes races as additions to those meetings to save those races.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
