Dave, fair enough, if that makes me arrogant I am content with that. I would rather support my club and worry about them than be more or equally as interested in how the opposition play. Anyone who does so is not really a true fan of their club imho, more just an overall football supporter who associate themselves with teams that win. Weird! :S but being a Chelski "football" supporter you would know exactly what I mean
Heres a list of average attendance of Stamford Bridge over the years in premier league:

Shame you never went back to 1979, that was my 1st season ticket. I think we finished 5 th or 6th in the old division 2.
Surely every team thats in the PL,their attendance rose from 1992 onwards.
Your right though, some fans only want to watch winning football.
Engles your a United fan,I'm a Chelsea supporter.Supporters go to matches home and away.
I've been to Old Trafford more times than most United fans..
The real Mancunians wear blue, listen to Oasis and watch Ricky Hatton.
The red half wear green & gold, listen to Simply Red and watch Countdown.

I wonder if old Englander has ever actually been to OT. or maybe he has taken the £10 tour of the ground.

Maybe I saw you there! (

Possibly but building work probably more relevant. though Chelsea (as they used to be) definitely had low attendances when the team was not "flying", stood on the Shed with plenty space many a time

I doubt they watch!

Most United fans don't live in the UK, we both know that

Yes CnC, I have but admittedly not often, been to S Bridge and Kingfield far more frequently. I have no problem answering questions and answering them honestly, unlike some complete hypocrits

Oh... and yes, I have also been on a tour of Old Trafford, was shown around by the great Sir Bobby Charlton as it happens. Most amazing "thing" for me was the "mound" shape of the pitch, had previously always thought they were flat as a pancake!!

Talking of pitches, has anyone seen what Blackpool are playing on.
Shocking,Tom Ince still has the ball under control while dribbling.
He looks a good player
