Reflections on yesterdays racing results (only saw the last race) –

Going – fairly standard, poor times in the Beza, Lady Julia and Henry Higgins races therefore would not be holding ‘form’ for them close to my heart. Meanwhile a scintillating time from Lucky Hand.

Draw – over 1450m the ‘previously favoured’ low draws no longer appear to have a significant advantage, if any. Furthermore, those drawn highest could previously be ‘written-off’ with confidence…this no longer applies.

Trainers – You usually get a good run for your money with Stuart Pettigrew runners and yesterday was a bumper day for him and his ‘followers’. The usual top dogs MGA and SGT had mixed fortunes whilst the ‘evergreen’ Roy Magner got his regular good share of places at good prices.
